After 15 alpha releases and 13 beta releases, Onpub version 1.0 has been released! We now consider Onpub to be ready for prime-time, and capable of wide spread usage as a powerful, flexible and customizable web content management solution.
The first version of Onpub (0.8.0) was released way back in April of 2007. After more than 4 years of development, Onpub has improved by leaps and bounds in recent months. This latest version brings a totally fresh new frontend and management interface design, and a brand new vibrant logo.

- All new color scheme, menu design, and logo

- Made h2 and h3 margins consistent in CKEditor with what is used by the frontend
- Added some transparency to drop-down menus
- Re-factored frontend template to accomodate new layout style
- Re-did YUI menu custom stylesheet
- Re-did Onpub frontend stylesheet and layout to accommodate new logo style
- Better WYSIYG CKEditor integration with new frontend design style
- Tweaked form field styles
- Added new orange rss icon
- Upgraded bundled CKEditor to version 3.6
- Re-organized section and website editing views.
- Added more descriptive text to article and section listings in management interface.
- Fixed some bugs in OnpubAritcle->getSummary method
- Tweaked display of article summaries on the frontend home page and section indexes
- Added new conf variable for controlling the number of updates displayed on the home page
- Added clearer documentation to fields shown by the website editor view
