Onpub 1.2 Released

A new version of Onpub has been released.

The main focus of this release is to fix the creation, editing, and display of sub-sections throughout the content management interface and the frontend. Onpub's handling of subsections is much improved in this release. We also overhauled the navigation menu in the management interface to enable accessing the most recently edited Articles in 1-click.

Here's a detailed log of changes in this new version:

  • Made Articles, Images, Sections, and Websites top level button on the nav menu in the content management interface. This makes it faster to navigate around the interface. Less clicks overall. Also, the Articles button on the menu now includes a new drop-down of the top most recently modified articles.
  • Section picker drop down on Articles index now correctly displays sub-sections
  • What's New now only displays articles that are linked to a section in the selected frontend website.
  • Fixed the OnpubArticle->select API call to handle returning an article in multiple sections/websites properly.
  • Removed Dashboard link from management nav menu. Moved Logout and User Guide links to the management interface footer.
  • Frontend menu will now correctly hide sub-sections if they are marked hidden in the management interface.
  • OnpubWebsites->get API call now fully links sections to sub-sections and vice-versa.
  • The Visible Sections list on the Website Editor page now shows sub sections in addition to the top-level sections.
  • Re-labeled section visibility check box
