Onpub 1.2.4 Released

A new version of Onpub has been released.

This new release improves Onpub in the following ways:

  • Logging in to Onpub has been simplified. The login screen now only requires a MySQL acccount user name and password. The previous login screen also required the name of the MySQL database to connect to. The database name field no longer shows up on the login screen. The user will be prompted to connect to a MySQL database upon successfully logging in. The user only sees the databases that they have permission to access. Once a database is selected, management of your content continues as usual. The connected database can be disconnected at any time without logging out. This allows one to easily manage multiple Onpub/MySQL databases under 1 MySQL account.
    .
  • Optimized the management interface by shrinking the logo and other margins that were taking up valuable vertical space. This freed up extra space for making the HTML editor (CKEditor) 30 pixels taller by default. This puts more focus on the content editing area.

  • The management interface nav menu is now aligned to the right of the logo within the page header.

  • Default style sheets now define bottom margins for h4, h5, and h6 tags.

  • CKEditor window is now only resizable in the vertical direction, this keeps the editor bounded within the horizontal width of the page.
